MR Bong, dealing in sweet big beats, cracking breaks. This DJ, Singer/Songwriter, Qualified Sound Engineer, Musician and also a founding member of the groove funk odyssey otherwise known as Caytie Marvelis, bends his vinyl around tripping breaks and smacking beats.

You may have felt his groove at Azzurris or during his residency at the Blue Chip Lounge and with tours to Greece behind his name playing at clubs like Mylo's and The Booze Club and events like Plenty and Zoltan Tribe, as well as tour’s to London and Bristol, playing at Nights like Loco at TIMBUK2. MR Bong has put himself on the globe.

MR Bong also has residencies at SENSE, BACK2BASS, OFFLINE and hosts a breakbeat night at Mo's (Norwood). Mr Bong has played at clubs like @115, 177 Hendrik Verwoerd, Transky and Carfax to name a few. MR Bong has also played alongside big names like Diesel Boy, Cargo 77, DJ Woody (ITF World Champ), DJ Vadim (Ninja Tunes),Tom Novy,Pendulum and Freq Nasty. He has also played at the Oppikoppi, Woodstock and Flux festivals as well as SABC YOUTH DAY CONCERT in Newtown 2005. Mr Bong has also been featured on 5FM’s Vinyl Frontier,GO3 on GOTV and UBONA on Channel 0.

MR Bong's also the one of founding members of the Two Twiggs Xperiment, who specialize in promoting/producing events as well as managing and developing artists and dj’s through there dj agency. Two Twiggs Xperiment will also be releasing several breakbeat compilations in the near future for various South African producers. Two Twiggs Xperiment are also part of LAN (Local Area Network) who have there monthly event SENSE at Carfax with other crew's ALL GOOD and Inishi8. The Two Twiggs have also just launched SA’s first breakbeat forum site www.breakbeat.co.za, in the hope of exposing breakbeat in SA and beyond.
